At Rockwell Homes, we believe that building your new home should be a rewarding and easy process. That is why we've developed a comprehensive, step-by-step process for the selecting and building of your home--one that keeps you involved every step of the way.
Finding Your Home
Once you have found the Rockwell home and community of your dreams, our experienced Sales Team will help guide you through the process of completing your purchase agreement. Finally, you will put down a deposit at this time so that we may begin the process of building your dream home.
Color Selection at the Design Center
One of the most exciting and enjoyable parts of the homebuilding process is your Design Center experience. This Is your chance to make your home reflect your style. Rockwell Homes skilled Design Consultant will guide you step-by-step through selecting the finishing touches you’ll need to personalize your new home’s interior, including: cabinetry, appliances, flooring (carpet, tile, and vinyl), countertops, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, hardware, optional window coverings and more. Our New Design Center has the latest styles and samples, so you will be able to make your new house feel like home.
Shortly after Rockwell Homes has received your building permit, you will have the opportunity to meet your project manager and on-site construction staff that will be working on your new home. At this meeting, we’ll walk you through the building process and answer any questions you may have. We’ll also confirm the features and options you’ve selected so that these selections are in order before building begins.
When your home’s framing has been completed, you will have a four-way meeting to review the progress on your home. Your Project Manager will walk through your home with you to confirm that structural features and electrical options have been installed in the correct locations. He will also answer any questions you may have regarding the next steps in the construction process.
Final Walk-Through and Closing
As the building process comes to a close, you will have the chance to preview your nearly completed home and identify any items that should be addressed.
At this exciting meeting, you will become familiar with the details of your new home and learn valuable care and maintenance information. We encourage you to take your time, ask questions and most of all enjoy yourself.
Shortly after your final walk through, you will have the last meeting in the buying and building process-your closing. Here, you will complete the paper work that transfers home ownership from Rockwell Homes to you.
